Policies

1 - The Visiting Vet offers a 10% discount to all senior citizens over the age of 65.

2 - There is no extra charge for travel to your home within the Greater Vernon/Coldstream area.

3 - Multi pet households are offered a discount on charges for vaccinations and exams given to more than two pets per visit.

4 - Litters are charged as one exam plus a multiple of vaccines given.

5 - Payment in cash or cheque is required upon completion of services.

6 - As it is difficult to travel with a full inventory of medication, shampoos, vitamins and prescription diets, some of these items will be prescribed and can be obtained at Creekside Animal Clinic.

7 - It is very important that your pet be contained prior to a visit so that time is not wasted in trying to find or catch your pet. Cats are best enclosed in a bathroom.

8 - After hours emergencies - Dr. Foukal will be available after hours as part of an on-call rotation with three other veterinarians at the Creekside Animal Clinic located at 5001, 24th Street, Vernon, BC. Please call 250-549-3533, either he or one of the other doctors will be able to assist you.

Fees

Our fee schedule is based on guidelines set out by the B.C. Veterinary Medical Association and as such our fees are consistent with those of the majority of Vernon's other practices. Please call 250-558-6700 for price quotations.
